  • Where to do the PCR test in Marrakech?

    You can do your PCR test in all laboratories in Marrakech by making an appointment by phone directly with them. The PCR test costs 700 DH (70 €) in most laboratories and the results are given within 24 hours. The cost of the test is non-refundable.

  • What is the situation in Marrakech?

    All establishments close at 9 p.m.
    Curfew from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
    Everything is open except the nightclubs and hookahs.
    No show in restaurants, but the presence of a DJ is still allowed.
    Mask is mandatory in the street but the police remain flexible with tourists.
    Inter-city travel is subject to authorization, except for the vaccinated.

  • How to dress in Marrakech?

    Marrakech is a tourist city and very tolerant with tourists. You can dress as you wish in most places in Marrakech.

    However, in the old town called the medina, it is more conservative. We advise you to cover yourself a little more, avoiding shorts that are too short and plunging necklines.

  • What language do we speak in Marrakech?

    Darija is the Moroccan dialect spoken in Marrakech and throughout Morocco.

    However, almost everyone speaks in French, and lot of them speaks in english too !

  • How to move around the city?

    Taxis are the most common way to get around Marrakech.

    Taxis in Marrakech are required to turn on the meter. Many claim that this one is broken, but they are liable to a fine if it is not lit! So ask them to turn on the meter and pay the price of the race according to it. Small trips in town very rarely exceed 50 DH (5 €) during the day, however it is more expensive at night.

    To get out of Marrakech city center, you will have to take a “big” taxi. You can also book all your transport outside the city center with us. We will book your trips with private drivers, the price will be fixed and cheaper than with “big” taxis.

  • What is the weather like in Marrakech according to the seasons?

    The weather is generally fine all year round and the climate is dry. It rains very rarely.

    From November to February, it is the coolest period of the year: between 20 to 25 degrees during the day and between 10 to 15 degrees in the evening.

    From March to June, it gets hotter : between 25 to 35 degrees during the day and between 20 to 25 degrees in the evening.

    From July to August, it is the hottest time of the year: between 35 to 45 degrees during the day and between 25 and 30 degrees in the evening. It is a very dry climate so it remains bearable.

    From September to October, temperatures drop but it is still hot: between 30 and 35 degrees during the day and between 20 and 25 degrees in the evening.

  • Can we sleep in the same room with our partner if we are not married?

    Yes ! From the moment you show up at the hotel with a foreign passport, you will be able to sleep in the same room with your partner. Moroccan bi-nationals (MRE) will also be able to do so, provided they present themselves at the hotel with their foreign passport.

    However (local) Moroccans have the obligation to present the marriage certificate if they want to sleep in the same room with their partner.
